It’s summer, which means it’s the perfect time to celebrate the out-of-doors by playing music for lovely folk INdoors (& in a beautiful JP home)

Join this edition of The Woodlawn Ensemble for an evening of string quartet music woven into a tapestry of summer scenery - birds, bugs, big trees, and all the song and dance in between.

The program will feature Haydn’s op 33 quartet “The Bird”, some of Bartok’s violin duos and his elusive ‘night music’ (from SQs 4 and 5), selections from Danish String Quartet’s “Last Leaf”, some of Caroline Shaw’s “Plan & Elevation”, and other songs of old.
